Welcome to Joy Junction

WE BELIEVE there is one living God, eternally existent in three persons: The Father, Son and Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all.

Joy Junction opens its doors to virtually anyone who desires help, ministering to the needs of the body, soul and spirit. We provide hope for the hopeless, and a hand-up to teach the skills necessary to allow our residents to return to employment and mainstream society.

WE BELIEVE in God the Father as an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, power, wisdom and love; that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men; that He both hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

WE BELIEVE in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings, His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, personal intercession for His people and His personal, visible return to the earth.

WE BELIEVE in the Holy Spirit, Who came forth from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgment and to regenerate, sanctify and empower for ministry all who believe in Christ. We believe that the believer receives the Holy Spirit at the time faith is placed in Christ for salvation.(In other words, it is the Holy Spirit who is responsible for the believer's new birth). We further believe that the Holy Spirit continues to indwell every believer in Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher and Guide.

WE BELIEVE that the filling of the Spirit is when the individual is totally yielded in obedience to God's Word and to the leading of His Spirit and that this experience occurs as an individual's personal response to God upon his life.

WE BELIEVE that all people are sinners by nature and choice and are, therefore, under condemnation; that God regenerates by the Holy Spirit those who repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord.

WE BELIEVE in the Universal Church, the living spiritual body of which Christ is the Head and that all regenerated people are members.

WE BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ committed two ordinances to the Church: 1) Baptism and 2) The Lord's Supper. We believe in baptism by immersion and in communion being open to all believers.

WE BELIEVE that spiritual leaders should lay hands on individuals to both confirm and endorse the particular level of service to which these individuals feel they have been called by the Spirit of God. This endorsement will be manifested in the individual's life through both prayerful and financial support from other believers.

WE BELIEVE in the personal, visible return of Christ to the earth and the establishing of His kingdom, in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment and eternal blessing of the righteous and in the endless suffering of the wicked.

WE BELIEVE in what is termed "The Apostle's Creed," as embodying the fundamental aspects of the Christian faith.
